"Self-portrait", Prague, Czech Republic

When it comes to photography, I have always been in awe of how much can be said with no words at all. A photograph can capture the immenseness of the human experience in one single moment. Like most photographers, I consider myself a storyteller. What sets me apart? Simple. Me. We each bring our own unique background and experience to our work. I bring my years of film studies and study of lighting, my empathic nature, my curiosity about people, my insatiable desire to capture authenticity, my deep desire for connection, my offering of ceremonial cacao, my love of depth psychology, and my passion to create more beauty and magic in this already beautiful world.

As a wedding and portrait photographer I like to focus on the small moments - or the moments between moments. For me this is where the honesty resides. The flower girl twirling until she is dizzy, the ugly crying bridesmaid, the my pants-ripped-during-first-dance moments. This typically translates into a more documentary-style shoot but I also really love getting creative with my environment and playing in a more editorial and stylized way.

It can be a scary thing to bare your soul in front of the camera, but I want to make this experience fun, joyful, playful, and full of your wedding day magic.

I’d be honored to help tell your story, your way.
